Upcoming Outings
Previous Outings
Merced Wildlife Refuge – January 27, 2026
Teri and Jim Curtis shared their scientific knowledge and expertise with those of us who ventured out to see birds, plants and other animals. It was very foggy when we arrived, so we didn’t see much at first, but once the fog lifted we could see thousands of geese and ducks wintering in the refuge. One bald eagle perched in a tree reigned over the area. It took no notice of us, but we stood for about ten minutes watching it in awe and thanks to Linda Lagace’s photos we can see it and some of the other birds close up.
Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience – Wednesday, November 16, 2022, in Sacramento.
Using the latest virtual projection technology, attendees can become a part of the spectacular universe of Vincent Van Gogh. Enjoy the exhibit then join the group for a no-host lunch before returning home.
